Born on the Fourth of July, a day most Americans celebrate our nation’s freedom. For my family that day was certainly a celebration, but in the weeks that followed, it was also filled with great fear and obstacles that many doctors were unsure I would overcome. Deep within me is a passion to help to helping other sick children that I personally raised over $18,000.00 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and volunteer as a St. Jude Hero.
While my time supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is my personal priority, I also make time for other volunteer projects. One example of my volunteer work is organizing The Toy Clean-Up Project which I started when I was ten years old.
I am so proud to let everyone know that I will be the president of the Pink Ladies Club, next year at Folsom High School. Supporting the fight against cancer, and helping in our community is what we stand for!
