On Tuesday, May 10, 2011, my friend Caitlin Ross hosted dinner at Visconti’s, 2700 East Bidwell Street, Folsom, to raise money for The Grace Foundation. So they can do what they do best; love, care, nurture, rehabilitate abused and neglected horses. I was happy to be able to help out, this is what the California International program is all about.

A Christmas for Kaiser Roseville Women and Children's Hospital

The Toy Clean-Up Project donated over 30 stuff animals, 20 Webkins and Gas Cards for the children and their families staying in the hospital. Kaiser Hospital is very special to me, because at one time I was a patient there as well. I Hope they all had a Merry Christmas!

My First Appearance

I have to let you all know how excited I was to get right to work. My first appearance as Jr. Miss California International 2011 was right in sunny Southern California on September 14th. I visited the St. Jude Children's Research Hospitals main office in Garden Grove. I was able to bring them a check for $200.00, my plan this year is to double what I was able to give last year. This will be no easy task, but I am planning on visiting my friends here every month and giving them the money that my Toy Clean-Up Project is earning. We have a lot in the works this up coming year, from huge garage sales to our Second Annual Golf Tournament, which will be held in April 2011. Please join me on my journey and help me reach my goal.

The last two months have been so busy for me. Started school, raising funding and awareness for my organizations and competing for Jr. miss California International. I' m so proud to be able to share with you that on September 11Th, I was crowned Jr. Miss California. I have been working so hard for this and need to THANK so many important people who have helped me along the way. My family, friends, every one at the St. Jude Children's Research Anaheim office. My mom and I took a visit to the local Ronald McDonald House, to donate some pull taps that I had been collecting for them. This was an experience of a lifetime! My mom and I were given a tour of the grounds. I met some great kids and families that were there because they had a sick child at UC Davis or the Shrines Hospital. The Ronald McDonald House has room for 18 families. Due to the economy they are in need of many things. I returned in a week, to bring them food, towel, toys and more. Fighting Breast Cancer with the River Cats

In July, the Sacramento River Cat's baseball team joined teams with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It was a night of fun for all, even though the River Cats lost. We were all there for something bigger, to help raise funds so we can find a cure.

On May 29Th, I had the first of many of my garage sale this year. The Toy Clean-Up Project holds at lease 3 garage sale a year with the proceeds going to St.

This is truly one of the most important post I've ever done. To be able to write a check to the St. Jude Children Research Hospital for $2000.00, was so incredible. As most of you know I founded The Toy Clean-Up Project three years ago. I want to be able to help children like myself who got a rough start in this world. I started by collecting toys and cleaning them up and then selling the toys at my
garage sale. The money was used to buy new toys, clothes and gas cards for the children in the hospital and for their families. I started making donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and I was even able to volunteer at one of their runs. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital touched my heart and I can relate to what the children are going through. My goal is to donate $5000.00 this year and continue to volunteer for them. I hope you can join me in making a difference Now, that God has given me a second chance I am going to take every opportunity to use my voice and help out others when they need it. I can remember when many people did this for me.

I was happy to make another visit to the St.Jude's office in Garden Grove, CA. The Toy Clean-up Project was able to give $100.00 to St. Jude Children's Reseach Hospital.

The Toy Clean-Up Project, was happy to be able to give back to the Folsom community. I was able to provide food for the officers who protect and watched over us on New Years Eve. With help from Bar B-Que Express in Folsom, who supplied the Tri-tip and my Mom and Dad who helped me make the chili, pasta, dips and extras. We were able to provide a great meal for the officers. I am thankful for what they do for the community and was happy to offer this to them.
Once again my Toy Clean-Up Project, has helped me do something great for someone else. Thank you to all who helps me keep it going, I love doing it.
Bar B-Que Express is located in Folsom at 6693 Folsom-Auburn Road, 916-988-8659. Thanks to them, the officers didn't have to eat vegetarian style. My Mom does not do the Tri-tip meat very well...

Crowns For a Cure

On Sunday October 18th, my sister titleholder Taylor Kandris (Miss Teen Sacramento Intl.) has put together a team called Crowns For a Cure. We are walking in the American Cancer Society annual breast cancer walk. It start at 7:00am downtown Sacramento at the Capital. Come join us and see how we put our crowns into action.
